Top 5 Ways To Get Spring Ready
Can you believe it’s April? With spring just around the corner, here at The Daffodil we’ve rounded up our top 5 ways to get spring ready! Whilst we wait impatiently for sunshine, warmer days and all the flowers to bloom, we’re getting ourselves and our homes prepared…
SPRING READY TIP #1 | Spring Clean Your Home

Is your home still stuck in the depths of winter? It’s time for a spring clean! De-clutter and throw out anything you no longer need – Marie Kondo style! Perhaps give the walls a lick of paint and of course start Hinching (use Zoflora’s springtime scent). Has your garden become a little wild and overgrown? It’s time to tidy up your flower beds and borders, maintain the fences and order your favourite summer-flowering bulbs and seeds.

SPRING READY TIP #2 | Buy Yourself Flowers

There’s nothing better than brightening up your home with spring blooms! Go seasonal with tulips, peonies or snapdragon flowers. Bloom & Wild’s gorgeous ‘Spring Meadow’, ‘The Sophia’ and ‘The Rosie’ really caught our eye. Place them in the hallway or lounge/ kitchen so guests can also enjoy the wonderful scent as they walk into your home.
SPRING READY TIP #3 | Book Your Summer Holiday

Got no plans for the upcoming summer? Have a look at Pinterest and Instagram for some holiday inspiration, narrow down your dream destination and make that booking! Then you’ll have plenty of time to research the best places to go, restaurants and buy your summer read.
SPRING READY TIP #4 | Update Your Spring Wardrobe

What better way to prepare for the arrival of spring than with a new wardrobe? It’s time to park the muted black and grey tones and brighten up that wardrobe with pastel hues and floral prints. Don’t forget about those accessories too – sunglasses, sandals and straw bags will compliment your spring wardrobe!
SPRING READY TIP #5 | Plan Day Trips

When the sun is shining there are so much more options for fun day trips! Why not visit your local zoo, take a drive down to the nearest beach for a picnic, visit a National Trust property or plan a walk on the fells (followed by coffee and cake of course!).
