EMPLOYEE MEALS

We know how important food is to people! Keeping ourselves well fuelled for physical work and ensuring a healthy balance of nutrients improves our overall wellbeing... Sometimes we just want good old comfort food!

So far, we have introduced employee cutlery and mugs so the canteen may remain more easily stocked through the day. We've also introduced cereals, fruit, crisps and cans of drink and now provide a weekly menu.

Our Chefs have been busy improving the employee meals menu and we have been receiving some great reviews.

Please keep feeding back to us on your likes and dislikes, favourites and suggestions using the suggestions box in the canteen area.

  

PEOPLE HR

A new way of working...
People HR is a digital platform aimed at taking the effort out of administrative tasks. No more paper forms! 

The platform will be launched from 1st November to all employees. A user guide will be distributed and support sessions will be set up. Your Manager will provide further information as required.

 

ADDRESS YOUR STRESS

Here at The Daffodil, we are pleased to be working in association with Mental Health First Aid England to deliver training, reduce stigma and improve knowledge about Mental Health. The MHFA website provides a wealth of information on how to identify and manage stress, which may lead to further mental health issues. Find out more here.

HOSPITALITY ACTION

All employees can access support from Hospitality Action via The Daffodil's Employee Assistance Programme at any time.

WELL ONLINE

Well Online is a fantastic digital wellbeing resource that offers information, advice, guidance and confidential support.

Sunday 10th October 2021 is World Mental Health Day - a day gives that us all an opportunity to highlight the importance of mental health, reach out for support and to help those in need.

This World Mental Health Day, and every day you feel overwhelmed we encourage you to take some time to check in on your own mental health and encourage others to do the same. There are some really useful tips and advice available online here.
